Dangers of Type-G lift trucks
The lift truck is essential for completing warehouse tasks. These extremely capable equipment raise and transport loads of huge size from one location to another. Forklifts have numerous variations. The primary variation is the way in which different kinds of forklifts are fueled. "LP" forklifts are the type that is most common. They utilize liquid propane. Type "E" lift trucks run on electricity and have large rechargeable batteries. Type "D" forklifts use diesel and type "G" use gasoline. Though all types of lift trucks, like any piece of heavy machinery, could pose a danger, gasoline powered forklifts carry the most risks.

Fire
Forklifts labelled type G could present a fire hazard. Gas lift trucks are not made with the same rigorous standards. Gas leaks are the biggest cause of fire due mainly to gas leaks and also escaped gas fumes. This could result driving on really rough terrain and from normal wear or from accidents. These circumstances pose a danger and can lead to fire. Therefore, a typical Type G lift truck should never be used in conditions where elevated fire risk is deemed unacceptable. Like for instance, these units must not be used around dangerous or explosive chemicals.

Explosion
Type G lift trucks also pose a danger of explosion, as do those which run on diesel and liquid propane. A type of lift truck that operate on gasoline can explode as a result of a serious accident in circumstances where an ignition source and a gasoline leak are present. An explosion could happen when sparks are created in the collision and the sparks ignite the gasoline.

Fumes and Exhaust
Due to toxic fumes, the gas lift truck does pose a risk for inhalation, which can be deadly in higher concentrations. Fumes could result from the exhaust itself or from gasoline leaks. Thus, a Type G forklift is really not suggested for any setting that is poorly ventilated. The exhaust would present a serious danger in enclosed places. This type of lift truck should be utilized carefully when operated near individuals.
