Man Lift Designs
There is an extensive array of articulating lifts on the market. There is practically a type of lift to fit each circumstance, application and work venue. There are particular manufacturers who specify in lifts for hazardous environments like for instance petro-chemical plants, underground tunnel situations, and other venues where there is a risk of dust or explosive gases, for instance in grain-processing plants.

Other lifts have been designed specially to mount onto large flatbed trucks or onto trailers or onto the back of a pick up truck. There are types of lifts which incorporate articulating booms that could be self-propelled and are controlled by the lift operator, while others can pivot 360 degrees.

There are lift models designed specifically for indoor and outdoor use, and come in 4-wheel and 2-wheel powered models. In some situations, the platforms are adjustable and several types of lifts feature baskets where the worker stands. These baskets or platforms are adjustable and enable the employees to swing into location or remain level, depending on what the operator must finish the task. There are several baskets and platforms that come wired so as to allow the operator to plug tools in as required.
