Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You could usually find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized in order to move supplies and products around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which can raise the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by one individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated with care to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Machine should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstructions. Check that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet must be stacked carefully to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
In order to release air in the pump and lower the forks, squeeze the lever found on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the pallet truck's handle. The forks could then be pushed into the pallet slots. The forks should be centered to be able to ensure even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has fully cleared the ground. Do not raise the pallet too high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is dangerous to push the pallet ahead of you as the momentum could cause it to go out of control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop suddenly. Slowly stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
