Different industries such as Waste to Energy, Scrap handling, Steel Mills, and many other material handling facilities including Bulk Transfer Facilities currently using our grabs and buckets to do their jobs.

The design philosophy at Peiner has always revolved around providing grabs which handle the biggest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is about 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This translates into transporting greater quantities of materials faster. There is less wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components. By combining manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the weight ration that is required is attained.

In order to meet the specific requirements of our customer's individual needs, grab sizes vary from less than 1 cubic yard to over fifty cubic yards.
