Genie Zoom Boom

Genie Zoom Boom

Bud Bushnell founded Genie Industries during 1966, after he purchased the manufacturing rights to a material lift that functioned on compressed air. The name Genie came from the "magic in the bottle" that was used to raise and lower the hoist. This mechanism greatly impressed lots of customers and therefore, the name was established.

Genie has moved into many new markets, because the need for lifts and work platforms grew. Over time, when the requirements for new machinery to meet many applications grew, the company made itself recognized in numerous new markets. Like for instance, Genie went into production with telehandlers, stick booms, light towers, man-lifts and articulated booms.

Because of the economic slump during the start of the 2000s, Genie decided to secure a partner who held the same values. They partnered up together with Terex Corporation. This company has a history obtaining equipment manufacturers throughout the world who proved to be a good business match. Genie Industries was sold during 2002 and became a part of Terex Corporation.

Due to the Genie name and its solid reputation within the workplace, it was determined to maintain the Genie brand name as part of the Terex Aerial Work Platforms. This was just decided after the initial few years following the sale. Thus, all Genie equipment continue to be marketed under the Genie brand name.

The company takes great pride in taking advice from and listening to their customers. Genie has always been continually dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency in addition to lessening wastes. Even long after the sale has been closed, the company focuses on offering outstanding support. These are the very work disciplines that have made Genie a trusted brand name over the last decades and continue to keep their reputation for quality and top-of-the-line machines.

Genie's Bi-Energy and DC machines are emission-free, quiet machinery capable of working in delicate work settings. Where the machine should be driven significant distances, such as in industrial situations, the Genie bi-energy system combines the benefits of a 48V DC machinery along with the power of a diesel-powered generator.

As opposed to any of the different types of aerial platforms, telescopic booms provide more horizontal reach overall. These equipment are ideal for limited access places in construction and other industrial settings. The Genie Telescopic S booms have been designed to offer utmost productivity. These machinery deliver supreme traction and the drive speed you need in order to travel around the work site and job area.
